The route we will follow in this excursion climbing up the mountain of Vrachionas will help us meet the traditional side of the island of Zakynthos. First stop is in Exochora for photographs of the so called the oldest olive tree on the island or maybe a coffee rest. Soon enough we reach Porto Vromi the small port from where we a boat will take us to the most famous beach in Greece, the Shipwreck. Stop for at least an hour and enjoy your swim at the crystal blue water. Then board again and visit the caves called blue because of the reflection the sun causes into the water, have photographs and return to port. On our way back we stop to the nearest village Maries for lunch. There is a variety of local restaurants (tavernas).
